About This Mentorship

I am not a professor with decades of experience. I am not an admissions officer. I am not a career counselor with formal credentials.

I am a student who walked a difficult path from Madagascar to India.

I stood where you stand now, confused about systems, uncertain about procedures. I made mistakes. I learned from them. Now I share what works and what doesn't through direct experience.

What Makes This Mentorship Different

Honesty over encouragement. I won't tell you everything is easy. I'll tell you what's actually required.

Experience over theory. I've lived through the application process, visa procedures, and academic pressure.

Specificity over generalities. I provide actionable guidance tailored to your actual situation.

✓ Before Requesting Mentorship, Confirm:

Check each box honestly. If you cannot check all boxes, you are not ready for mentorship yet.

⚠️ Important: If you checked fewer than 6 boxes, please return to the previous steps and complete them before requesting mentorship. Skipping preparation wastes everyone's time and provides no value to you.

Why This Template Helps

This structure ensures I understand: who you are, what you want to achieve, where you're stuck, what you've tried, and what specific guidance would help. Clear information leads to clear, useful responses. Students who send vague messages receive vague responses. Students who send specific messages receive actionable guidance.
